Infolinks Review : Is it worth in 2024?

The primary goal of most bloggers is to make money from their blogs. Yes, blogging is fun to me but I also built this blog so that I can monetize it and make a couple of thousand bucks per month. I run this blog with money, so I believe I should also make money from it or isn’t that fair?

Well, earning money is not easy at all! It’s neither a game of one night nor even a game of one month or two. Earning four figures or sometimes even three figures from a blog takes at least 2 years or more.

I have known Infolinks since 2011 when I used to blog on Blogger.com platform before I switched to the WordPress. In this guide, I am going to tell you each and everything about Infolinks in this details review. But before jumping in, here is the proof what I have earned from Infolinks.

Infolinks is an Online Advertising platform that enables bloggers and website owners to make money from their website by displaying relevant ads to their visitors. It is one of the biggest online ad networks today and more popular among the small blogs.

One of their most popular advertising options are in-text ads. It means that you do not need extra space on your sidebar or header or anywhere on your blog.

You just need quality content and there you go. You can earn revenue by driving traffic to your website and when the traffic clicks in-text ads you earn revenue.

In a nutshell, the more clicks you get from your visitors, the more money you will make from Infolinks. That’s it!

Infolinks provides you with 5 monetization options. You can activate just one of these five options and you may also activate all the monetization options. The five types of ads are: Intext, IntagInframeInarticle and Infold

This offering from Infolinks is basically the reason they are going popular day by day because this helps the blog owners to increase their revenue in a great manner.

Various ads option from Infolinks

Let’s talk briefly about each of them.

1. Intext:

Intext ads are the most popular and well known of all the options Infolinks offers! These ads are relevant and one of its best parts are that it keeps the interface clean and neat. It automatically detects valuable and high paying keywords in your page text.

These types of ads works by highlighting a word by double (or single) underline. When someone hover over the word, it opens an ads bubble containing an ads matched to the context of your keywords.

Hence, if your reader would be interested in the ads related to highlighted word he can cilck on the ads and this is how the blog owner can earn. You can customize how the whole thing looks so the color scheme and fonts, etc. fit with your blog layout.

2. Intag:

Intag ads shows a tag cloud in between paragraphs where each of the tags link to a specific advertisement. It can expose your readers to a wide variety of keywords, thus you might gain more clicks.

Choose between one or two rows of links that open a relevant ads bubble upon a mouse hover. These type of ads are similar to Intext ads but the only difference is Intext ads are in the text or in the content. But these tags are not the part of the content.

3. Inframe:

Inframe ads monetize the unutilized side margins of the website and display advertisements there to help you bring in more revenue.

These ads are matched to your website’s category and are intelligently revealed only on traffic originating from wide screen monitors and customized to fit perfectly, without disturbing your site’s layout at all.

4. Inarticle:

The Inarticle is a highly view-able ads, once opened these ads are visible in the content itself when the user scrolls the web page. I have found it very decent and eye-catching.

This ads unit serves top brand ads according to the content, in various ads formats including video and native, in order to boost engagement and revenue.

5. Infold:

Infold ads are shown as a banner on the bottom of the screen, which always stays above the fold as the user scrolls down. No need for extra space.

When a reader will scroll down, these ads will also scroll and continued to show above the fold. With the close button (x) your reader can close it, if he doesn’t want to see these ads.

Now let’s discuss few general FAQs to understand if Infolinks is a good fit for your blog and when you should move away from it.

Joining the Infolinks Ad network is quite easy and straight forward, the Infolinks platform is open to any online publisher, big or small, with no setup fees, no minimum requirements for page views or visitors and no hidden commitments.

Though, Infolinks do have certain policies in place that ensure the effectiveness of ads for their publishers as well as for their advertisers. They do review all websites and reserve the right to decline any application.

Also, Infolinks do not allow content that can be deemed as negative in nature, illegal or offensive in any way. The baseline here is that they don’t accept anything illegal!

Yes, you can use Infolinks with Google AdSense. You can also check out AdSense policies here.

Joining Infolinks is quick and easy. All you need to do is fill out a short form and integrate the code into your site for the ads to appear instantly.

Follow these quick steps to join Infolinks now:

After successful acceptance from Infolinks don’t forget to add ads.txt file in your blog.

Infolinks offers a wide range of payment options – PayPal, eCheck, ACH (only for U.S. bank accounts), bank wire transfer  and Payoneer.

The payment threshold is $50 while the bank wire transfer option has a minimum threshold requirement of $100. PayPal is the easiest and most secure way of withdrawing payment, so I would recommend that.

You get paid within 45 days of reaching the threshold. So, if you reached $50 on May, you will receive the payment mid-July.

Summary

Infolinks works well with all niches, so it doesn’t matter if you run a weight loss blog, or a dog training blog. Infolinks get you covered as long as you have contents on your blog.

To be honest, Infolinks is mostly useful when your blog is relatively new, once it starts getting more visitors you should consider either affiliate marketing or any other high paying advertisement networks which also works for low traffic.

Few examples you can consider: PropellerAds, RevenueHits, VigLink, Skimlinks, adcash and Peerfly.

These advertisement networks are not as popular as other premium advertisement networks such as AdSense, Media.net, or any other, but their presence motivate new bloggers which put confidence in them to earn money online.

Then let’s discuss now few PROS and CONS from my personal experience with Infolinks:

PROS

Getting approval is easy and fast. Approval is not based on the amount of traffic that comes to your website, Infolinks review your blog based on content.
Easy installation! Yeah the installation process is easy for all the platforms like Blogger, WordPress, Joomla etc.
They have an active support staff that is fast to respond and helpful.

CONS

If you want maximum earning through Infolinks then you have to get visitors from USA and UK otherwise, your earning will be low.
The Inframe ads may not always work well. Sometimes, it may overlap and become obstructive, but you can always turn it on and off, which is pretty cool.
