Hello Sunil
How to Install Ubuntu on VirtualBox

How to Install Ubuntu on VirtualBox [Step by Step Guide]

By default, each time Ubuntu starts a login screen will be presented seeking username and password credentials.

If you are the sole user of the system and would like to bypass this screen and be logged in automatically each time the system boots, be sure to set the Log in automatically checkbox before proceeding.

Click Continue.

Step 19: Once all the questions have been answered, the installer will simply proceed with the installation.

Depending on the speed of your system, and whether or not you opted to download updates during the installation, this process can take some time.

Alternatively, if the installation was configured to log directly into the desktop, the GNOME desktop will appear after the system has restarted.

In the VM window, go to Devices and hit Insert Guest Additions CD image. The ISO disc image that is located in the VirtualBox installation directory will be inserted into a virtual CD/DVD drive of the VM.

In order to install the necessary packages, execute the following command:

sudo apt-get install gcc perl make

You may need to type admin credentials when using sudo.
